The current CEO of the Society is the talented writer, Ramiz Gjini.

Secretaries are poets Petraq J. Pali and Mehill Vela. Both Gjini and Pali are continuing for a second term as the Society's CEO and Secretary. They were elected at the Society's August 7, 2005 meeting held in Dallas, Texas.

The distinguished writer, Naum Prifti, honorably served as CEO from 2001 to 2003. During this period he was assisted by secretaries Sami Milloshi and Luigj Çekaj.

The officers for the previous two-year period (2004 - 2005) were CEO Ramiz Gjini and secretaries Rozi Theohari and Petraq J. Pali.

The Society of Albanian-American Writers was founded in accord with American laws in the year 2001 by Gjeke Marinaj, who is the President of the Society, and who represents the Society in the body of non-profit organizations in the United States of America.
